In Federal Parliament a list of the 60 women and girls that have been killed in instances of domestic and family violence this year was read out.
The United Nations is marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with 16 days of activism from Nov 25 to Dec 10 - International Human Rights Day.
